Domestic Commerce Division Introduction

The Domestic Commerce Division is responsible for supplying medical equipment to healthcare centers based on the specific needs of different departments. This includes evaluating proposed brands and selecting them in coordination with the healthcare centers, visiting the centers to discuss further collaboration, and managing purchase and sale contracts for medical and laboratory equipment, operating room supplies, hospital hospitality items, hospital facilities, ambulances, and more. Additionally, this division handles contracts for the specialized renovation and refurbishment of various healthcare center departments through designated systems.

Objectives

The division organizes public tenders to standardize procurement processes and ensure organizational transparency. This supports the rights of the private sector and promotes domestic producers by fostering a competitive, non-discriminatory environment for medical, non-medical, and essential equipment (such as kitchen, laundry, shelving, and general and laboratory furnishings). Representatives from the Social Security Organization’s oversight bodies and the National Inspection Organization are invited to participate in the tender openings. This ensures a fair and unbiased process based on regulations, where applicants’ experience, samples, standards, initial approvals from relevant authorities, and the alignment of goods with tender requirements are thoroughly evaluated and ranked.
